Klemens M. Hellmann LL.M. offers specific expertise in the fields of intellectual property (IP) law – including copyright and ancillary copyright – as well as protective rights regarding trademarks, names, titles, designs and industrial design. The practice of Klemens M. Hellmann includes the support and representation of clients in cease-and-desist procedures relating to trademark and competition matters, court proceedings and proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) as well as the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). He advises companies on matters of advertising law and personality rights (e.g. with respect to online comments on companies). Furthermore, he advises clients on questions related to press law (e.g. false statements, illegally produced photos, films or reporting), IT law and, as a complementary aspect, data protection law.
